 On behalf of the American Cancer Society, it is with great pleasure that we welcome you and your guests to the 12th Annual Fred Fletcher Memorial Golf Classic to benefit the American Cancer Society’s South Atlantic Division fight against cancer.
This year’s fundraising efforts are going to be an unqualified success with the involvement of many prominent business leaders throughout the region. We are thrilled that you have expressed an interest in being part of this exciting golf outing. It will be unlike any other golf event you have experienced – you have our word on this! From the moment you enter 1705 Prime on April 27th for the Casino Night until you depart from Raleigh County Club on the following afternoon, you will be pleased with the venues, the gifts, the prizes and most of all, the knowledge that you are providing funds for research that will one day soon find a cure for cancer.
The team registration fee of $2,500 covers golf for four at the challenging Donald Ross designed course at Raleigh Country Club, eight complimentary tickets to the Casino Night at 1705 Prime, lunch prior to the shotgun start, food and beverages on the course and did we mention the player’s goody bag featuring golf balls and Nike shoes and apparel – just to mention a few items…We hope you and your guests will be impressed with the quality of this event.
Tournament Specifics:
INDIVIDUAL PRICING - $625 individual golfer
TEAM PRICING - $2,500 for team of four
CASINO NIGHT – Each golfer will receive two tickets to the Casino Night at 1705 Prime the evening before the tournament, April 27, 2008
SHOTGUN – Registration begins at 9:00 am with
a shotgun start at 10:15 am
RAIN OR WET CONDITIONS – Please call the Raleigh Country Club Pro Shop at 919-231-6055
ATTIRE – Raleigh Country Club has a strict dress code. Golfers must wear a shirt with a collar. Bermuda-length golf shorts are permitted. Each player must wear golf shoes with soft spikes.
FORMAT – The format is a four man Texas Scramble. Flight assignments will be determined by your team’s average handicap.
SCHEDULE – Please encourage your guests to arrive early so that they have time to receive their player gifts and take advantage of other amenities.
